Description
This round pot has a handle, some would call it a basket pot… It is tan color with a red/orange band on the upper inside and the bottom is painted with the red/orange color . The design is black and red/orange. It is thick. I believe it is early (1930-40) Isleta. A few pots there were of the tan base, most were of nearly white base.
It is 2 5/8″ high to the rim of the pottery bowl and 4″ high to the top of the pottery handle (painted black) – 4″ widest diameter, top opening is 2 7/8″ diameter, bottom is 2″ diameter.
There was a piece of tape (like white older medical tape) on the bottom – see last photo. It fell off while I was photographing piece – it reads “Louise (Arizona) from Uncle Charles Dilthey” (it is a bit hard to read). Charles Dilthey filed
