A very attractive 1861 O better date seated liberty half dollar graded VF 35 by PCGS. This coin holds a sharply defined full liberty on the obverse with excellent feather details throughout the reverse. It has perfect original toned surfaces and has been approved by CAC for quality. It has been housed in a PCGS Secure Label Holder.
This New Orleans Mint date holds a total mintage of 2,532,633. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 2,500 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only 57 graded Very Fine 35 by PCGS. It is also one of only nine approved by CAC for quality in this grade level.
